A group of Red Herring editorial judges will review each nomination. The editors will assess nominees on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, and integration into their ecosystem. Specific to the Red Herring 100 Global Award, the judges will look closely at the company's global strategy to evaluate how the company will be able to handle the challenges of internationalization and a global presence.
This year applying companies must be:
Privately held and not listed on any exchanges anywhere in the world
Recipient of a regional Red Herring 100 Award as Winner or Finalist of 2005, 2006 or 2007. There are three regional Red Herring 100 Awards: North America, Europe and Asia.
Submissions process:
Each year, Red Herring receives a large number of submissions for its Top 100 Awards. To streamline the process, we will only be accepting submissions for the Red Herring 100 Global through our on-line submission process.

100 Winners announcement: Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Award Ceremony of the Red Herring Global Summit
