SPEAKERS

Nominate your company for a speaking opportunity at Red Herring Japan 2007.

Keynote Address
The keynote address is a platform where industry luminaries present their companies and vision in the general session. The speech is generally followed by a short interview with a member of Red Herring’s Editorial Board. Past Red Herring keynote speakers included industry icons such as Bill Gates, Nobuyuki Idei, Masayoshi Son, Hasso Plattner, Larry Ellison, Irwin Jacobs, and Michael Dell.

Roundtable Discussions
Three to four times throughout the event, significant topics in the technology industry will be discussed in a keynote panel format in front of the general session. Moderated by a Red Herring Senior Editor or a member of the steering committee, this 45-minute interactive session will be a lively debate with roughly three to five industry experts discussing the current climate, future outlook, and lessons learned for the most controversial, entertaining, and pertinent topics to senior executives in the technology sector.

At various times throughout the event, breakout roundtables (much like keynote roundtables) will create a platform to discuss the leading topics in the technology ecosystem. Hosted in a more intimate atmosphere with a more segmented group, these breakout roundtables run in two or three parallel tracks. They feature audience participation, and showcase a handpicked panel of experts always armed with an extremely insightful, wide range of views. Breakout roundtables sessions run between 45 and 60 minutes.

Speaker Selection Process
At Red Herring Japan 2007, we offer a wide set of speaking opportunities for C-level executives of disruptive private and innovative public tech companies and representatives of the finance/venture community. The Red Herring editorial board will review all valid speaker submissions and discuss with the event’s steering committee.

All selected speakers will be contacted individually. All decisions are final. Invitations to speak are non-transferable.

Company Presentations

  • Selected companies are invited to participate in one of our breakout Company Presentation sessions. Company Presentations run between 10 and 15 minutes and have proven to be a springboard for many companies in the past. Millions of dollars have been invested in companies that have presented.
